The focus here is on analyses of key terms and concepts that are characteristic of Greek and / or Roman culture. Projects are expected to delineate the historical alterity of a particular key concept and its potential repercussions until the present day and, where appropriate, to account for differences in its uses between the Greek and Roman worlds in a comparative framework.
Individual research projects as well as conferences and publication projects can be funded in this field of research.
