Within the framework of the ‘PLuS Concerts’, the first dates will take place from autumn.
Under the title ‘Italian Masterpieces for Piano and Cello’, the musicians Elisa Rumici and Guillermo Ortega Santos invite the audience to join them on a journey to the beginning of the 20th century and listen to works by Italian composers that are generally underrepresented.
The evenings promise a high-quality audiovisual programme in which the musical pieces are accompanied by recitations of contemporary poetry and projections of paintings from the period.
The concerts will take place on the following dates in the Great Hall of the Basel University of Music. Entry is 30 minutes before the start of each concert. Entrance is free! A reservation is not necessary.
